"The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."
- Thomas Edison

Nandana is an aspiring computer engineer with a passion for building integrated hardware-software systems. Throughout her seven years in the STEM program, she has cultivated skills in problem-solving and engineering design through various hands-on research projects and innovation challenges. Her interest in developing technology-based solutions for agricultural sustainability deepened as she built working prototypes of an agrivoltaic system and an IoT-based system for optimizing crop rotation for the Synopsys Science Fair and Thomas Edison Pitch Contest.
Her experience in Project Invent further strengthened her ability to innovate with purpose, collaborating with teammates to design solutions that address community needs. Nandana has also engaged with her high school community and shared her passion for engineering through SEC: Science, Engineering and Career Club.
Beyond her enthusiasm for engineering, Nandana is an environmental advocate committed to fostering community-led climate action. She has promoted environmental literacy efforts as a co-lead of the Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action Santa Clara team and contributed to grassroots conservation efforts at the Ulistac Natural Area.
