BIOGRAPHY

Juju has been part of the STEM program for all six years, gaining valuable skills and experiences that shaped her passion for science and healthcare. Throughout the program, she developed an appreciation for scientific education and became an advocate for introducing science to younger students. She joined and now leads Biomedical Youth Labs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free science labs focused on the human body and health education for students in the community.
One of Juju’s most impactful experiences was participating in a summer medical internship she discovered through a STEM presentation. That opportunity inspired her to pursue a future career as a physician assistant and strengthened her interest in healthcare.
Outside of STEM, Juju enjoys gardening, going to the beach, late-night drives, exploring new places and spending time with friends and family. She is also deeply involved in Hawaiian culture through hula and playing Hawaiian music on the ukulele. In addition, she enjoys volunteering and working within her community.
Juju plans to attend the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she will be studying Molecular Cell Biology while continuing to pursue her goal of becoming a physician assistant.
