BIOGRAPHY

Sahana has cultivated her collaboration, perseverance, and design skills over the past six years in the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute. Her interest in STEM and engineering evolved as she participated in competitions like FIRST Tech Challenge, Synopsys Science Fair, and the Tech Challenge, where she was exposed to both software and hardware development. Her ability to problem solve and her interest in working with hardware applications grew over the course of these projects.
Outside of school, Sahana continues to devote her time to teaching younger students through her part-time job and volunteer work at the library. In her free time, she enjoys solving escape rooms with her friends, engaging in graphic design projects, and rewatching the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
Moving forward, Sahana is excited to pursue a career in electrical engineering while gaining new skills along the way, continuing to build on her passion for hands-on projects.
