As part of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute for the past four years, Aditi has developed a strong passion for mathematics, finance, and data analysis while growing as a collaborative and driven student. Through the program, she has explored the intersection of STEM and real-world problem solving, inspiring her interest in pursuing mathematics and economics in college.

Throughout high school, Aditi has participated in projects and activities that emphasize leadership and community impact. She has been involved in Pay-It-Forward through STEM and has also conducted research in behavioral economics and game theory, focusing on how mathematics can be applied to economic decision-making. She has also taken on leadership roles outside of her school such as being the president of Global Computer Literacy, a nonprofit organization striving to teach senior citizens about cybersecurity and internet safety.

Outside of academics, Aditi enjoys playing basketball and values the teamwork and encouragement the sport brings. As a former JV captain and 1 year playing on varsity, she worked to create a positive and supportive environment for her teammates both on and off the court. In her free time, she enjoys running, trying new foods, and hanging out with her friends.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, ASML, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
