Pranav has been a member of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute since the 7th Grade. Throughout his six years with the program, he has developed both his technical skills and his people skills, growing both as an engineer and as a leader. SLI has prepared Pranav for a profession in the STEM field, and with that he plans to pursue a career in nuclear engineering.

However, SLI has also given Pranav the opportunity to engage with his passion for social sciences and the humanities. Through his Pay It Forward Project, Pranav was able to imbue this same passion for the liberal arts amongst members of the next generation of students. Pranav appreciates the holistic education, as understanding the ethics and social responsibility of engineering is crucial in his chosen career path.

Outside of academics, Pranav is an avid fan of martial arts, holding a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Doe. He also particularly enjoys camping, hiking, and other outdoor experiences, alongside photography and travel. Pranav is exceedingly grateful for the lasting connections and relationships that he has built through SLI and has thoroughly enjoyed his time in the program.
