Niharika is a high school senior passionate about science and the medical fields. She has explored healthcare through volunteering at El Camino Health, where she assists patients and families as well as serves as an aid to doctors, while gaining insight into compassionate care and communication in medical settings. These experiences have strengthened her interest in pursuing a future in healthcare and service.

Beyond medicine, Niharika is deeply involved in leadership and the arts. She has served on the City of Santa Clara Youth Commission, working to elevate youth voices and contribute to initiatives that strengthen her community. She also serves as president of Link Crew, helping foster connection and support among incoming students. She has also been a choreographer for Jashan’s Bollywood dance team, where she enjoys performing and celebrating culture through dance. After 13 years of Bharatanatyam training, Niharika earned her bachelor’s degree in the classical Indian dance form and now co-teaches dance classes alongside her instructor, mentoring younger dancers and sharing her passion for the art. Through service, leadership, and education, Niharika hopes to create a meaningful impact in her community and beyond.
