Aris has been a hard-working student with the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute from 7th to 12th grade. A positive member of the program, Aris enjoyed working on many group projects through the STEM program such as the Maker Mart, Tech Challenge, and Solar Power tracks. Aris also presented on meaningful topics in his classes such as the awareness of autism in school and the importance of commemorating those who passed in AP Seminar. Aris is proud of the efforts he put into his high school studies, and specifically enjoyed learning about math and biology. He is also very grateful for all the friends he made and the teachers who guided him.

One of Aris’s biggest hobbies is playing baseball. He played year round on many teams representing Santa Clara Little League and played travel baseball with Living Legends. He has also played four years of high school baseball with the Santa Clara High School Bruins. Additionally, he represented the Philippines through the Philippines Baseball Group and won the Filipino World Series for Northern California in 2025.

Aris will be going on to study Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Saint Louis University. He hopes to become a MRI technologist and assist patients through the intimidating process after being inspired when he underwent a MRI procedure of his own.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, ASML, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
