Over the past six years, Satvik has developed a deep fondness and gratitude for the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute and the ways it has shaped him. Exposure to competitions such as First Tech Challenge and the Synopsys Science Fair sparked his passion for Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, two disciplines he hopes to pursue in college. Throughout his time at SLI, Satvik has gained valuable experience in CAD, machining, and programming, skills he plans to carry with him through college and beyond.

Outside of school, Satvik enjoys spending time with his friends at the gym or simply grabbing a bite with them. He is beyond grateful for the lifelong friendships he has formed during his time at SLI. He also loves contributing to his car detailing business, South Bay Details (@south.baydetails), where he gets to combine his passion for cars with his entrepreneurial spirit.

Following his college education, Satvik aims to create robotic devices that ease the lives of the elderly and those suffering from serious health conditions.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, ASML, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
